JetBrains Unveils Kineto, a No-Code AI App Builder for Everyone
August 5, 2025
JetBrains has launched Kineto, a new AI-powered app builder designed to make software creation accessible to anyone — no coding required. The tool allows users to describe their app ideas in plain English, and within about 20 minutes, Kineto generates a working prototype complete with UI, logic, and database.

Unlike drag-and-drop builders or AI design tools that still need developer input, Kineto handles the entire build process, letting users tweak features or visuals simply by chatting with the AI.

JetBrains, known for its pro-grade developer tools, says Kineto is aimed at enabling a “creative dev economy” — where imagination, not programming knowledge, drives software development. Early users can build apps like blogs, fitness trackers, or meal planners, with more complex capabilities on the horizon.

An Early Access Program is now open for non-coders with app ideas. Participants get direct support from the Kineto team to bring their concepts to life.

JetBrains believes creating apps could become as commonplace as editing photos or videos — and Kineto might be the tool that makes that future possible.
